Give the Customer Control

If all that you are doing is “Broke Fixes” you are losing money for your plumbing business. When we present our customers with options, it empowers them and gives them the ability to make a decision. When they called you they were feeling out of control, but when you offer them options it makes them more comfortable when we offer a good, better, and best option. A comfortable customer is a buying customer. It also gives the customer something to say no to.

Provide Price Perspective

We experience price perspective in most parts of our lives. An example of this is when shopping for a new TV. The automotive industry and real estate industries do this all of the time. They always show you the product that is over your budget so when they show you less, you will be in agreement. Price perspective will increase your average ticket and increase your customer satisfaction.

Stay In the Lane

You don’t need sales techniques in order to make more money for your plumbing business. 1/10 guys will be natural salesmen so don’t waste your time giving your guys sales tactics that don’t work.
